· To help those less fortunate than I am
· To build awareness, educate, serve
· To Love and Appreciate people who need it
How am I achieving this?
· Maintain a Volunteer’s attitude
§ Start each day focused on improving lives, not on improving financial standing
§ Think positively about the task at hand, focus on the big picture
· Be persistent
§ New struggles can happen every day, focus on the big picture to inspire completion of small tasks or assignments
§ My life will only be what I make of it
§ I am the person who makes my decisions every day
· Sacrifice
§ To spend time and/or money showing one individual love, respect, and dignity is money and/or time well spent
§ Be selfless in order to fulfill self
· Infect every room with happiness and light
§ Compliment people who are doing a good job
§ Maintain a positive attitude, regardless of the situation
§ Make small gestures daily to those around you
